Hello Crafty Friends,
Wednesday, September 16, 2020
I am hooked onto Mixed Media and its a great way to recycle rather I would say Upcycle your old stuff.
Here is my another project with all of you.
I had an old glass plate where I tried to use an old novel paper in the background, which gives a yellowish effect in the background. Through main image I have tried to show that Books are integral part of our life. Whatever age bracket we fall in, Books gives wings to our ideas, liberates our soul and expands our horizons of thinking by becoming a better human being.
I have used a border die from Heartfelt Creations, for the frame of the focal image. Also, used lot of layering in background using lot of stamping and embossing.. I have embellished the project with handmade flowers, liquid pearl drops and some chipboards.
This is my entry for September 2020 Challenge MoreThanWords.

I have altered an old wooden Jeep Décor, which was scribbled with some crayons by my daughter. I have experimented with Mixed Media using some chalk paints, waxes and metal embellishments. I am happy with the makeover of the Jeep “JOY”!!!
This was a participation entry for the July 2020 Challenge REUSE – RECYCLE – REPURPOSE by iridescent secrets/#artforthesoul
Sharing some pics of the altered decor. Hope you all will like it.
Hi Crazy Crafters,
I made this project - Mixed Media Layout "Butterfly" for the Painting My Dream challenge, July 2020 organized by Iridescentsecrets. This is close to my heart as i just loved how beautiful it turned out!!
This group has a unique way of hosting challenges. They chose an Inspirational Artist, this time the featured Artist was none other than Keren Tamir, who is known in the industry for her exceptional skills in Mixed Media. The participants have to create projects inspired by her Keren's projects.
I have been following the beautiful work of Keren Tamir.
I have observed her love for butterflies, which is reflected with so much versatility in her projects. This challenge has given me a good platform to explore the creativity.
I am also adding the inspirational project of Keren Tamir here.
Sharing with you all the glimpses of my project. I hope you all will like it.
AND THIS IS THE PROJECT THAT INSPIRED ME. DO VISIT KEREN TAMIR YOU TUBE CHANNEL, SOCIAL MEDIA ACCOUNT TO GET INSPIRED AND LEARN SOME WONDERFUL TIPS AND TECHNIQUES OF MIXED MEDIA!!!
